I kid you not you had me fooled, a fairytale that only existed in my head.
You had me hooked on your being, basking in the love you sucked from me.
Draining every inch of me, purposefully stripping me of my strength.
How could I fall for an energy vampire?
Even I find difficulty in believing it got to this.
Was I really that oblivious to the truth?
Or did you have me under a spell?
I mean for an outspoken person; one would think I would use my voice!
My comfortability was never prioritized; how could I have not seen this?
