In Letting Go, I Return To The Rhythm Of My Bloodline

I have come to accept that I cannot change what refuses to change. I cannot transform what resists transformation, nor can I walk into the future while holding onto a past that does not belong to me…or to my ancestors. The same applies to tolerating disrespect, I will no longer allow those who dwell in darkness to pull me down or come for me.

I descend from a generation of fearless ancestors, ones who were never disrespected by those confused about who they were or what they were destined for. With that in mind, I am stepping away, with immediate effect, from relationships that no longer serve any purpose in my life. As difficult as it is especially when I once believed in the possibility of a wholesome future with those individuals, whether blood-related or not…I choose peace, purpose, and alignment.
